  • ITAR

More and more companies are requiring that members of their supply chain be ITAR Certified or ITAR Compliant, and we are. ITAR stands for the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and is a set of US Government regulations on the export and import of defense-related products and services. All manufacturers, exporters, and distributors of defense articles, related technical data and defense services as defined by ITAR are required to register with the DDTC. By registering with the DDTC you are confirming that you understand your organization’s requirements to comply with ITAR. Even if your company registers with the DDTC to sell products or services in the ITAR industry, you must also not violate ITAR compliance regulations. You are to be educated and trained in current ITAR regulations.
  • EAR

EAR stands for the Export Administration Regulations. It is a set of US Government regulations on the export and import of commercial items. EAR is managed and implemented by the US Department of Commerce. License requirements depend on a product’s technical characteristics, the destination, the end-consumer, and the end-use. Many of these items can be “dual-use”, meaning they have both commercial and military functions.
