E3 Displays LLC is a privately owned small business located in Phoenix, AZ that provides design, integration, ruggedization and distribution services for embedded displays and electronics applications. We serve leading medical, military, aerospace & space, industrial and commercial equipment manufacturers with our industry leading solutions and services and are growing the front end of our organization to support our growth roadmap in North America, Europe and Asia. We work closely with partners, distributors and suppliers in Taiwan, China, Japan, South Korea, Europe and the US supporting our diverse customer base with applications ranging from touchscreen cockpit avionics to ventilator monitor and controls.


We are pleased to present an exciting co-op/internship opportunity to be part of our growing Go To Market team which is augmented our 3rd party channel sales network and digital marketing agency. As part of this market-facing team, the candidate will work for the Director of Sales and Marketing, Andrew Hickson on a range of high priority initiatives and projects focused on driving top line revenue growth and gross margin expansion.

After completing this successful co-op, the student will have a better understanding of the inner workings of B2B sales in the Medical, Mil/Aero and Commercial embedded systems ecosystem. This will include product & value add service strategy, value based pricing strategy, business information systems upgrades and automation on the newly acquired Hubspot Sales Hub + Marketing Hub & CMS which will be integrated with our existing ERP etc. It will also include customer facing inside sales, proposal writing, lean sales process creation, and CAC strategy optimization, historic sales analysis, lead generation scoring and trend visualization (PowerBI etc), ecosystem mapping, global channel sales strategy development and business cases creation.

Projects include, but are not limited to, supporting the following:

  • Inside sales process implementation in Hubspot CRM including software define approvals, NPV calculations and CRM based sales forecast implementation.
  • Manage the vendor selection and implementation of two-way CRM – ERP software integration between EPICOR and Hubspot.
  • Outbound sales campaign automation and lead scoring across all 7 market segments in support of a 4 person sales team collaborating with sales reps and Marketing Analyst.
  • Customer / Partner / Supplier Ecosystem mapping for global industrial displays / electronics / software and product stakeholders.
  • Go-to-market research based on macroeconomic, geopolitical and finance trends.
  • Financial modeling and analysis for market share win projections & investor pitches.
  • M&A Opportunity/Threat analysis based on ecosystem transactions & financial conditions including margin change analysis – WACC sector impact analysis etc.
  • Interacting with an industry leading marketing agency specializing in B2B SEO and advertising including project management and social media strategy creation .
  • PowerPoint slide creation / updates for int/ext presentations including templates.
  • Financial presentations and other preparation for internal executive and board meetings.

Professional Attributes: :

  • Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program .
  • Major, concentration, and/or professional experience area: economics, commerce, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, data analysis, sales or similar .
  • Available to work 40 hours/week between July and December 2024.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, CRM, Outbound tools, etc.

Additional Information:

  • Sales training both formal and informal provided
  • Vacation / PTO available
  • $22-$32/hr hourly compensation depending on experience and skills
  • US Person preferred for access to export controlled technical data

Weekly Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1 hr lunch break. OT possible.

Onsite in state-of-the-art Charlottesville, VA office with full sales team and Director.
