After a record year in performance, E3 Displays continues to lay the foundation for strategic growth by building its executive team, expanding customer reach by recruiting top sales talent, increasing manufacturing capacity, and enhancing the supply chain to ensure their customers continue to get the same level of service even during the pandemic.
As the next step in its strategic growth journey, today E3 announced that Shree Deshpande has joined its executive leadership team as Senior VP of Global Sales and Marketing. “This is an important hire for E3 as Shree is the first senior executive to join the E3 team focusing on global sales, business development, & marketing efforts of the company in our journey of strategic growth,” says Chuck Rahrig President of E3 Displays.
Shree will be responsible for optimizing the sales team, sales channels, marketing portfolio, and growing global sales to achieve strategic growth at E3 Displays and further enhance the customer focus that E3 is known to offer.
Shree brings more than 20 years of global experience in growing B2B manufacturing companies serving Fortune 1000 multi-national customers in various high-value industrial markets such as displays (LCD, OLED, E-Paper, Touch), optoelectronics, solid-state lighting, semiconductor manufacturing, medical/life sciences, aerospace, and others.
Prior to joining E3, Shree enabled profitable revenue growth in senior leadership roles at various emerging materials science-based technology and industrial products companies (Brewer Science, Watlow Electric, Solutia Performance Films, Pixelligent Technologies, & nanoGriptech). He has developed and executed sales, marketing, and business development strategies, built strategic partnerships, grown customer pipelines, & commercialized products.
After an initial stint in hands-on technical work in designing and commercializing novel materials for semiconductor manufacturing, Shree developed a passion for listening to customer pain points and working closely with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to develop solutions to exceed customer expectations. Because of his passion for customers, Shree leveraged ways to achieve customer proximity and has successfully built sales teams and sales channels (distributors, sales agencies, and manufacturing reps.) to help companies establish global customer reach.
Shree holds a Ph.D. in Organic/Polymer Chemistry and an Executive MBA. He is the principal investigator on several material science-related patents for semiconductor manufacturing as well as an author of several technical publications. He has presented at several international technology and business conferences.
