Title: Production Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Work Hours: Full-time

Reporting: VP of Global Operations

The company specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, enhancement, and integration of engineered electronic components into display products for applications in industrial systems, consumer products, defense/aerospace, marine, gaming, medical electronics, security, and related markets. From easy to implement standard and semi-custom products to highly complex solutions for unique applications, this rapidly growing company supplies components, sub-assemblies, and complete integrated solutions for virtually any product need in its technology field. The successful candidate will join our team to develop and execute a marketing strategy, to improve lead generation, deliver a pleasing experience to customers in doing business with E3 Displays, and enhance E3 Display’s brand value in our target markets. The marketing efficiency of sales operations and customer service and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction to enable sales growth.

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • – Possess knowledge of electronics processes and assembly techniques.
  • – Knowledge of ISO quality control systems
  • – Possess knowledge of cleanroom environment and protocols.
  • – Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, or diagrams.
  • – Develop or implement programs to address problems related to production, materials, safety, or quality KPI’s.
  • – Leads 5S activities and supports a lean production environment.
  • – Experience working with a comprehensive ERP system (Epicor) to manage and analyze operational and production activities and performance.
  • – Plan work, set targets, and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
  • – Creates and oversees project schedules by studying project plans and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • – Reviews and maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • – Reinforces Company’s safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • – Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations as well as internal product quality requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • – Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • – 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing setting

Language Skills

  • – Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English. Must be able to construct sentences using proper spelling and grammar in order to update QMS documents and reports, create procedures and correspondence with customers verbally and with the use of email, text, and written documents.

Reasoning Ability

  • – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

  • – To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to understand and use Epicor effectively and correctly. This ERP can be taught at the time of hire. Prior experience with ERP bases systems is preferred.
  • – Ability to operate and used Windows-based tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to effectively capture critical information and communicate effectively.
