Title: Operations Systems Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Work Hours: Full-time

Reporting: Production Manager

The successful candidate will join our team to develop and execute a marketing strategy, to improve lead generation, deliver a pleasing experience to customers in doing business with E3 Displays, and enhance E3 Display’s brand value in our target markets. The marketing efficiency of sales operations and customer service and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction to enable sales growth.

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Be the Epicor-Operations system subject matter expert. Lead problem identification, analysis and problem solving.  
  • – Provides data and support to strategic initiatives and special projects – be the subject matter expert on quality-related information and data. Promote and support continuous improvement processes (Lean Enterprise initiatives) and the relentless pursuit to reduce/eliminate the cost of poor quality.
  • – Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales Teams, develop the quality plan, establishing processes to ensure quality is built into our product throughout the process. 
  • – Optimize communication and interaction between process operations and Engineering to ensure product quality and the elimination of error and redundancy.
  • – Manages non-conformances, corrective, and preventative actions. Implements effective root cause analysis and corrective actions for all CARs.

Required Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • – A technical degree from an accredited 4 yr college is highly recommended
  • A minimum of 4 years of direct experience including Epicor-ERP designer/consulting, involved in the development, and implementing process of procedural changes in a Total Quality, multi-product manufacturing environment using ISO 9001 standards.
  • Direct experiences with components and systems in at least one of the following markets: electronic manufactured products, displays systems, sensors and controls, defense/aerospace, industrial, medical equipment.

Language Skills

  • – Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in English. Must be able to construct sentences using proper spelling and grammar in order to update QMS documents and reports, create procedures and correspondence with customers verbally and with the use of email, text, and written documents.

Reasoning Ability

  • – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

  • – To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to understand and use Epicor effectively and correctly. This ERP can be taught at the time of hire. Prior experience with ERP bases systems is preferred.
  • Ability to operate and used Windows-based tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to effectively capture critical information and communicate effectively.
